Geogrid component

Material: Usually made of high-modulus polyester yarns or polypropylene yarns coated with polymer or PVC, or polypropylene (PP) without coating.
Functions:
- Reinforcement: Increases the load-bearing capacity of the soil.
- Stabilization: Prevents ground displacement and improves load distribution.
- Deformation resistance: Reduces settlement and cracking.

Non-woven fabric component

Material: Usually made of bonded polypropylene or polyester fibers.

Function:

- Separation: Prevents mixing of different soil layers.
- Filtration: Allows water to pass through, but retains soil particles.
- Protection: Serves as a protective layer for sensitive waterproofing or other geosynthetics.
